DZUP 1602’s afternoon show ‘Sabi Ko, Sabi Niya’ invited UP AME members Jonathan “Jonats” Salvador and Joanne “Jo” Calma as guests on their one-hour show on  June 9, 2010.

According to Salvador, the conversation revolved around the act of cosplaying. The hosts asked various questions regarding the seeds of their love for cosplaying, how long they have been cosplaying, the cost of recreating costumes and accessories, recreating the character, and the rewards and awards gained from the activity.

“Cosplaying does not require much money being spent, but it would require the person’s determination, resourcefulness, and creativity,” Salvador said.

After participation in the program, Salvador and Calma hoped to spread awareness, appreciation and interest in cosplaying as an activity.

DZUP’s 3-4 o’clock show ‘Sabi Ko, Sabi Niya’ regularly airs Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays. A recent inclusion to their program allows guests from UP organizations to discuss their respective interests, aims, goals, as well as promote upcoming events.
