As the last stretch of the academic year reached its end, batch Shemen (7) organized the AME Sports Fest 2010 for the old Continuing members, the newly inducted members and the Alumni on April 29, 2010 at the University of the Philippines open grounds from 9 am onwards.

As the Sports Fest’s aim was to enhance the interaction between the members and the alumni of the organization, registered individuals were separated into four different groups and were asked to choose an element and a color. Each color would correspond to a name pre-determined by the organizers.

The four groups were: the Scarlet Scars, the Fuchsia Faggots, the Cerulean Cervix, and the Ochre Ogres.

After the intense battles of ‘Bring Me,’ ‘Balloon Relay,’  ‘Catch the Crawler,’ ‘Five-Legged Race,’ ‘Longest line,’ and ‘Cheer-off’ the results were neck and neck.

Garnering the highest accumulated points, the champion of the sports fest were the Scarlet Scars. Close behind were the equally competitive Fuchsia Faggots. And trailing closely from the leading teams were the Cerulean Cervix and the Ochre Ogres.

At the end of the day, the ultimate prize was the priceless moments that the organization’s members, alumni, alumnae had spent together.
