1. Registration will start at 1:15PM and will end at 2:30PM and will be limited to the first 15 registrants. The location of the booth will be announced on the day itself.

2. Songs are limited to anime or game soundtracks, J-pop, and J-rock.

       a. The registrants may do one of the following:

           i. Choose from a song list of 150 songs provided by UP AME as long as that song has not been chosen beforehand. The music and the lyrics sheet will be provided by the organizers.

           ii. Bring their own if their preferred song is not on the list. The contestants must prepare a CD with the karaoke version of their song, together with four (4) copies of their lyric sheets.

3. Costumes and choreography are welcome but not required. Contestants may have their lyrics sheet while performing.

4. Contestants must observe punctuality. Failure to come on stage three minutes after the contestant's name is called would result to automatic disqualification. The order of contestants will follow their registration numbers.

5. The contestants are to sing the first 2 minutes of the song or at least until the chorus is reached. The judges will decide whether the performance is going well. If the judges are not satisfied with the performance, they may "gong" and cut-off the performance.

6. The criteria for judging will be the following:
      a. Voice Quality and Proper Melody (40%)
      b. Proper Diction (30%)
      c. Over-all Performance (20%)
      d. Audience Impact (10%)

7. All contestants that were not "gonged" will receive prizes. An ultimate winner will be chosen and will receive Php500 as cash prize.

8. Members, alumni, and probies of UP AME are NOT ELIGIBLE to join this contest.

9. UP AME may tape or photograph contestants at its discretion. Entry into this contest constitutes an agreement by the entrants to allow UP AME to use their pictures for publicity purposes in the future.

10. UP AME has the right to disqualify any contestant that will violate any of the rules stated above.
